定義

　　復數指在英語中與單數相對，兩個及兩個以上的可數名詞。

　　一般方法

　　(1)直接加-s, 如：bag-bags.

　　(2)當單數名詞結尾為s,z,x,sh,軟音ch時加-es, 如：box-boxes, peach-peaches. (o有時也是，如hero-heroes)

　　(3)不規(guī)則變化，如：ox-oxen, child-children, man-men, tooth-teeth.

　　(4)不變化，如：deer-deer, sheep-sheep,mouse-mouse.

　　(5) 在中間加-s,用于連詞，如：hanger_on-hangers_on,maid_of_honor-maids_of_honor.
