once的用法總結(jié)

　　1. once用作副詞時,意為“曾經(jīng);一度;從前”.它是一個不確定的時間副詞,其位置一般是在行為動詞之前,系動詞之后.

　　如：

　　Once he lived in America, but now he lives in England.

　　他曾經(jīng)生活在美國,但現(xiàn)在他生活在英國.

　　2. once用作連詞時,意為“一旦……就……”,用于連接時間狀語從句,相當于as soon as.

　　如：

　　Once you start, you will never give up.

　　一旦你開始了,你就不要放棄.

　　注意：once引導的是時間狀語從句,從句要用一般現(xiàn)在時代替將來時.

　　3. once用作副詞,也可意為“一次”的意思.兩次是“twice”,三次是“three times”,四次是“four times”.
