doubt的準(zhǔn)確意思是“對.表示疑惑”,在肯定句中常與if或whether搭配使用,意思是“我對xxxx是否發(fā)生表示疑惑”,“我對xxxx是對的還是錯的表示疑惑”等等.

　　而用doubt that時,后面要接的是 將要發(fā)生或已經(jīng)發(fā)生的一個事實,表示我對這件事的懷疑.而且doubt that通常用在否定句里,表示“恐怕、不會”的意思.用于肯定句的話,還是doubt if/whether更符合習(xí)慣.

　　I doubt if she will change her mind.意思是我懷疑她是不是真的會改變想法.

　　I doubt that she will change her mind.意思是我恐怕她不會改變想法.

　　又例如：

　　I doubt if/whether he will win.我懷疑他能否贏.

　　I don't doubt that he will win.我不懷疑他會贏.

　　doubt和suspect的意思上差不多.

　　doubt更口語化.

　　suspect更書面化、正規(guī)化,而且一般就直接寫suspect sth,沒有suspect if/whether這樣的搭配.suspect that 倒是比較常用,比如：

　　I suspect that she told a lie. 我懷疑她說謊.

　　作為對比,I doubt that she told a lie意思是我覺得她沒說謊,不過貌似一般比較少這么說.

　　解答： 1，doubt當(dāng)動詞時,在<肯定句>中后面可接if或whether。

　　在否定句及疑問句中可跟that從句。有時在<肯定句>中也能跟that從句,但其含義是"恐怕...不會"。

　　I doubt if (或 whether) he will win.

　　我懷疑他能否贏。

　　I don''t doubt that he will win.

　　我毫不懷疑他會成功。

　　Do you doubt that he will win?

　　你懷疑他會成功嗎?

　　I doubt that he will win.

　　恐怕他贏不了。

　　2，doubt of

　　對...抱懷疑或悲觀態(tài)度。

　　The project began badly and we doubt of its further progress.

　　這項工程開始就不順利,我們懷疑能否繼續(xù)進(jìn)行。

　　3，no doubt后接that從句或介詞of。

　　We have no doubt that you will succeed.

　　We have no doubt of your success.

　　我們毫不懷疑你會成功。

　　There is (It is 誤) no doubt that you will succeed.

　　毫無疑問你會成功。
