　　anywhere的用法：

　　anywhere的基本意思是“在〔往〕什么地方,在〔往〕任何地方”,多用于否定句、疑問句或條件句中,代替somewhere,但如果句中所述的去處不那么明顯的話,偶爾也可以用于肯定句,意思是“什么地方都…”“隨便什么地方”。

　　anywhere不用于比較等級(jí)。

　　anywhere可用在最高級(jí)句中加強(qiáng)語氣。

　　anywhere還可用作名詞,不可數(shù)，意為“任何地方;任何方向”。例如:There wasn't anywhere where we could sit alone and think.沒有任何地方可讓我們獨(dú)自坐下來思考問題。anywhere基本上是副詞,只是在特別情況下才用作名詞,故只要用作副詞就不要用作名詞而在其前使用介詞如to, at等。①當(dāng)anywhere用作名詞時(shí),其形容詞修飾語只能位于其后。例如:It's a weak document, not anywhere good enough.這是一個(gè)沒有多大約束力的文件,根本沒有用。②當(dāng)anywhere用作名詞充當(dāng)主語時(shí),其后不可接否定謂語。例如:

　　任何地方都不可能用作運(yùn)動(dòng)場。[誤] Anywhere cannot be used as a play-ground.[正] Nowhere can be used as a playground.

　　anywhere可引起從句。當(dāng)引起從句時(shí), anywhere在主句和從句中?？煞謩e用作名詞和副詞,例如:

　　Is there anywhere you can go?你有什么地方去嗎?(anywhere在主句中用作名詞,而在從句中用作副詞。)I'll take you anywhere you like.你喜歡去哪兒我就帶你去哪兒。(anywhere在主句中用作副詞,而在從句中則用作名詞。)

　　have never been anywhere的意思是“不曾出過國”,不作“哪兒也沒去過”解。例如:Why wouldn't you let me go to Europe that time?I've never been anywhere.你為什么不讓我在那個(gè)時(shí)候到歐洲去呢?我不曾出過國。
