1. Do you prefer to be busy?
Yes. I love to be busy and I enjoy the fast pace of life. It's interesting that the busier I am, the more efficient and creative I will get. I feel that following a tight schedule can keep me very productive. I don't want to idle away my precious youth
No, I don't. I prefer to live a relaxed life. You see, life is short, why make it even busier? After all there's something I can't finish, I'd rather slow down and concentrate on those things I can do well, as it's said "carpe diem". What's more, quality is more valuable that quantity isn't it?

Wow!I can't believe I've hardly had a moment to relax over the past week.
Last week was my sick week. After getting back from a trip I began feeling really tired and dizzy. I had a big headache and had a burning feeling in my throat. This made me miss the class on Monday. But that wasn't the end of my troubles. I had to finish a 2000-word paper by Tuesday for my class.Also, there's another 1500-word essay to be finished on Wednesday. And on top of that,we had a 40-question quiz for the same class. So I had my hands full for 3 days while I was Sick.
Believe it or not, I even squeezed in time prepared a brief presentation on Friday. God,busy as a beaver ! ! It was the worst feeling ever,but went well and everything got finished. So that was my week, not the most exciting but busy indeed.

Frankly, I prefer being busy to having nothing to do. Being busy can get me fired up, super-charged and keep clear mind. Besides, the research shows the busier people are, the happier they are. Of course, I don't like to be over-scheduled, over-stressed and over-busy, this will lead to higher anxiety and ultimate unhappiness.
As a student, I feel busiest in the end of semesters, since I have to prepare for the final exams of all subjects. Some teachers also require us to write essays. When it comes to this time, I feel really overwhelmed and exhausted.
It depends, if I'm busy doing things I like, I never feel stressed or anxious, while when it comes to something I'm not interested in at all, I'll get pressured.

sample answer： We all get busy in times of exam, sickness of a family member, for completing assignment, to meet deadline etc. and though most of us wish to lead a relaxed and hassle free life, the situation demands our promptness in action and we all get busy then. One such busy time I still remember was the time when I had the deadline to submit my thesis paper in the final year of my university. I had about 2 months to complete the thesis and I killed almost 2 weeks due to my job pressure. I joined a company as a part time employee at the beginning of my final term and had to work for about 4-5 hours per day. I had classes to attend, exams to prepare for, study and work at office. I had hardly few hours remaining for my personal stuffs and I was worried that I was falling behind my schedule for my thesis paper submission. The thesis was a complex one and I had to visit libraries, browse internet, do group discussions and meetings and brainstorm a lot to organize the writing for the thesis. Moreover I had to visit some local offices to collect data for my thesis. Those days were so tough and I had been so busy that sometimes I slept for 4 hours only at night. The work pressure, tension, tight schedules, deadlines, moving from place to place, classes & study were my life. I did not visit my parents for the whole semester as they were in my hometown. There were hardly any month that I did not go to my hometown to meet my parents but during that period I did not have the chance to do so. In fact I was unable to go to my hometown for about 7 months. I usually watch 2-3 movies in my computer each week, go for walking each morning, visit some close friends, maintain my social networking profiles and update my blog but during this period I was so busy that I did not do any of these activities I usually maintain. I am so lucky that I was finally completed the thesis and submitted it in due time. To my surprise, I got a straight 'A' in my thesis, continued my job and did well in my term final. But for that I had to sacrifice a lot and maintain a strict routine. I slept 4-5 hours each day on an average, read academic books and notes in public transportation while moving from one place to another, and utilized every single hour I got. Moreover to finish things in time I stopped lot of my other activities that I usually do. Thus I had been able to handle the pressure and deadline.
