Q: What's your favourite book?
A: My favourite book is My Life Story, which was created by an American writer, Helen Keller in 1902. She was blind, deaf, and dumb. This book describes her own experience and her hard struggle to become a well-known writer and educator of the world. It shows us a universal truth that "Where there's a will, there's a way."

Describe a book you liked to read in your childhood.

I wasn’t much of a bookworm but I did occasionally read novels from time to time during my childhood. In fact, I’d like to talk about a book I read when I was 9 years old, written by Li Hong. Its English name translates as ‘Hero’.
I would have been in primary school at the time, I guess around grade 4, but I can’t remember exactly off the top of my head. Bear in mind that in those days I would rather go outside and play with my friends than read a book, but I remember this book in particular taking up a large portion of my time.
The book is actually the first in a series of 6 books that are set in a fantasy world of old magic, monsters and knights in shining armour. It is set on an epic scale across a vast, vibrant and immensely detailed world with each chapter dedicated to just one character’s viewpoint. It’s perfect for a young boy with a vivid imagination, looking for a bit of adventure.
In this way I think the book really stands out from the others I have read. The plot lines twist and turn with many surprises and cliff-hangers so I found it almost impossible to put down. The speed the story develops makes the book a real page-turner and even though it is nearly 1000 pages long I got through it in under a fortnight.

口語考試通過面試(interview)的形式，通過跟考官(examiner)對話、討論來完成對于語言評估，通常情況下時(shí)間會嚴(yán)格控制在13-15分鐘以內(nèi)。

考試分為三個(gè)部分：Part 1會問簡單的問題，例如工作，學(xué)習(xí)，家鄉(xiāng)，平時(shí)愛好等，從而達(dá)到熟悉考生個(gè)人情況，也考察考生對于基本問題反應(yīng)能力。Part 2 考官會給考生提供一個(gè)話題卡，針對一個(gè)主題展開描述，考生有1分鐘的準(zhǔn)備時(shí)間(考官提供筆和白板，可以寫筆記)，之后希望考生針對這個(gè)話題回答，通常建議說2分鐘，時(shí)間到考官會要求停下。(對于時(shí)間的要求很嚴(yán)格，但是如果時(shí)間到?jīng)]有說完，也不必太緊張，口語是三個(gè)部分的綜合考察。)Part 3 是對上一個(gè)部分話題的延伸，考察口語表達(dá)對于社會性話題的描述，甚至是自己對于這些問題的觀察和想法，對于烤鴨來說是最難的部分，考前一定要認(rèn)真對待part 3。
如何準(zhǔn)備Part 1話題并提高流利度?
1. 一定要從part 1 開始，熟悉所有的題目，可以每天設(shè)定目標(biāo)，但是不要太多，根據(jù)自己的情況而定。對于能力比較好(雅思口語5.5+，已經(jīng)備考一段時(shí)間的)的同學(xué)，可以寫出關(guān)鍵詞，一定是自己的原創(chuàng)想法，這個(gè)很重要;其次可以促使自己使用一些平時(shí)不太常用的連接詞來回答問題，例如as, although, even, as well as, for等。(目的是在話題中加強(qiáng)語法的多樣性和準(zhǔn)確性)更多連接詞用法，可以參考劍橋詞典。
對于能力比較一般的(雅思口語4-5.5分，小白)的同學(xué)，需要自己把想法認(rèn)真一字一句寫下里，檢查是否有語法錯(cuò)誤，是否提供了合理的解釋，這里可能需要老師的幫助，畢竟自己不一定可以寫出語法合理的句子，當(dāng)然也可以從教材中學(xué)習(xí)句子結(jié)構(gòu)、答題思路。
2. 不同程度的同學(xué)完成上述部分之后，接下里就是練習(xí)熟練度，重點(diǎn)：不要死記硬背每道題的答案，這樣只會增加負(fù)擔(dān)。第一遍錄音: 自己提問，自己回答，脫稿，不可以停下，即使錯(cuò)了也在繼續(xù)，不要太在意是否回答正確，要鼓勵(lì)自己說下去。

I enjoy it a lot, as becoming an artist is what I wanted since I was young.錄音結(jié)束：需要重新聽自己的回答(很多同學(xué)會認(rèn)為聽自己的聲音很奇怪，慢慢習(xí)慣就好了)，找出自己可以改進(jìn)的地方(語法，單詞的發(fā)音，句子的中音都是需要專注的部分，整體回答的流利度，是否自然即不要過快或者過慢)。總結(jié)第一遍錄音的問題，然后第二遍重復(fù)上述步驟。建議間隔12-24小時(shí)之后，再進(jìn)行第三遍同樣的操作，因?yàn)闀羞z憾的過程，所以第三遍就是為了鞏固復(fù)習(xí)。這樣就可以很有效的改進(jìn)口語的流利度。雅思口語想要提分還是得重在堅(jiān)持，自我反饋。
