Some people didn't live near a doctor or a hospital, and others couldn't pay for the care they needed. They made do with herbal medicines or folk remedies. Of course, some of these worked, but not for the more serious diseases.
The quality of medical care has improved. That's also a factor in longevity. Doctors know more now about what causes disease and how to care it ,Years ago, doctors only knew about the most basic diseases and cures. Medicine was not very advanced. You could die from something as simple as an infection from a cut. Now we have antibiotics and other medicines to help cure infections.
People are also living longer now because of better nutrition. We 're eating better and more healthfully than we used to .That's reduced the number of people with heart disease and cancer. We try to eat low-fat foods and eat more vegetable and fruits ,which are now available year-round.
Improved medical care and healthy eating habits has greatly expanded our life spans. What we need to do now is make sure that everyone in the world has these benefits.

She tries to keep her end of things flowing smoothly to help others in the office. She realizes that if one person doesn't get her work done, it can hold up everyone else. She has a positive attitude that creates a pleasant working environment.

本人基本情況：四級(jí)認(rèn)真復(fù)習(xí)603分 六級(jí)不太認(rèn)真復(fù)習(xí)：548分。Toeic:950(聽(tīng)力490，閱讀460， 應(yīng)該是聽(tīng)力錯(cuò)6個(gè)，閱讀錯(cuò)4個(gè)) 不多說(shuō)，直接講重點(diǎn)。
一、教材
(一)紙質(zhì)版
書(shū)名：《新托業(yè)Tomato全真模擬試題集3》，【韓】金學(xué)仁 李寶英 編著 中國(guó)人民大學(xué)出版社
做題情況：全做完
感受：這本書(shū)共有10套模擬試題，第8、9、10的難度比起1-7套大些。但總體上難度比真題大很多，這10套題我做得最好的是第6套，其中聽(tīng)力錯(cuò)31個(gè)，閱讀錯(cuò)6個(gè)，所以大家不必被類(lèi)似模擬題的難度嚇到。
優(yōu)：題目難度較真題大，可以很好地鍛煉自己做題的速度與質(zhì)量。
劣：沒(méi)有聽(tīng)力文本，很可能有些句子你從一開(kāi)始到最后都不明白在講什么，閱讀解析過(guò)于簡(jiǎn)單。
總體評(píng)價(jià)：不推薦
(二)電子版(大家論壇上下得，非常寶貴的資源)
1、書(shū)名：《新托業(yè)全真題庫(kù)part1234》 俞姃沇(yan)著機(jī)械工業(yè)出版社
聽(tīng)力常見(jiàn)語(yǔ)句背誦表(19天)：這是一個(gè)附在此書(shū)最后的聽(tīng)力材料，非常有用
《新托業(yè)全真題庫(kù)part5 6》 鄭相虎 著 機(jī)械工業(yè)出版社
《新托業(yè)全真題庫(kù)part7》 安光模 著 機(jī)械工業(yè)出版社
做題情況：全做完
這是一系列分部分的題庫(kù)，是不是真題我不確定，但part1234還不錯(cuò)，有聽(tīng)力文本、詳解、重點(diǎn)詞匯;Part56也還行，有詳解，重點(diǎn)詞匯;part7不推薦，難度太低，會(huì)給人托業(yè)閱讀像它一樣輕松的錯(cuò)覺(jué)。
2、書(shū)名：《新托業(yè)聽(tīng)力詳解及實(shí)戰(zhàn)試題》【韓】徐敬珠 金真榮 金正元 著 中國(guó)人民大學(xué)出版社
這是一本對(duì)練習(xí)聽(tīng)力很有用的書(shū)，具體優(yōu)勢(shì)如前述：新托業(yè)全真題庫(kù)part1234。
3、書(shū)名：《新托業(yè)Superb全真模擬試題集》
做題情況：4/6
有一定的可取之處，但題目質(zhì)量不是最好的，建議最后找不到題目練習(xí)又想保持做題狀態(tài)的時(shí)候做一下。
4、書(shū)名：《新托業(yè)考試官方指南標(biāo)準(zhǔn)試卷》 外研社
這本書(shū)共有兩套樣卷，題目質(zhì)量很高，和真題難度最為接近，建議在考試前2天每天各做一套。
二、復(fù)習(xí)時(shí)間：2013.2.25—2013.3.16 平均每天復(fù)習(xí)小時(shí)：10
特征：復(fù)習(xí)跨度不是很長(zhǎng)，但每天復(fù)習(xí)的時(shí)間比較長(zhǎng)。三、復(fù)習(xí)方式：
(一)初期：做紙質(zhì)版模擬題，每天一套，并且細(xì)細(xì)核對(duì)答案，那會(huì)兒還沒(méi)有看到男巫大神的分享，所以對(duì)聽(tīng)力的核對(duì)就是一遍又一遍地重復(fù)聽(tīng)，核對(duì)第一遍時(shí)看著答案給的場(chǎng)景信息不停頓地聽(tīng);核對(duì)第二遍時(shí)精聽(tīng)，沒(méi)聽(tīng)懂的回放;第三遍再拉一次，最后基本能保證把題目答案聽(tīng)出來(lái)，大概85%左右;閱讀部分把生詞給查出來(lái)標(biāo)注在書(shū)上，每做完一套題，把聽(tīng)力、閱讀遇到的生詞都記在生詞本上。
(二)中后期：保持上午兩套聽(tīng)力，核對(duì)一套答案，下午做閱讀，核對(duì)上午一套聽(tīng)力答案，核對(duì)閱讀答案，晚上再做一套新的聽(tīng)力的做題速度。
(三)后期：題量逐漸減少，基本進(jìn)行聽(tīng)力閱讀一次性完整做完的練習(xí)。
(四)備注：始終認(rèn)為，詞匯(此處包括短語(yǔ))是語(yǔ)言的基礎(chǔ)。所以在用電子版的資料進(jìn)行復(fù)習(xí)，核對(duì)答案時(shí)，我會(huì)在旁邊開(kāi)一個(gè)word文檔，分聽(tīng)力、閱讀1(part5、6)、閱讀2(part7)三個(gè)部分進(jìn)行詞匯的歸集、整理。睡前盡量把每天新增的和以前記錄的詞匯溫習(xí)一遍，加深記憶。四、考場(chǎng)心得
(一)帶齊兩證：準(zhǔn)考證(考前一周可以打印)、身份證。
(二)耳機(jī)若有問(wèn)題，試音階段及早向監(jiān)考老師提出。
(三)聽(tīng)力結(jié)束，盡早開(kāi)始做閱讀部分的題目。我在這階段沒(méi)弄清楚狀況，中間浪費(fèi)了2分鐘的樣子，有點(diǎn)影響后續(xù)發(fā)揮。具體的，托業(yè)官網(wǎng)上會(huì)有關(guān)于考試流程的介紹(ToeicExamFLASH)，和正式答題的情景一樣，強(qiáng)烈建議在考前1-2天時(shí)多去看看，熟悉一下。
