“Save it for rainy day.” That's my motto. When I have a choice between spending my money or putting it in my savings account at the bank, I always put it in the bank.I will have a lot of expenses in the future like my education, travel, and unforeseen emergencies. I need to have money set aside for these expenses.
Education is expensive. I can't depend on my parents to pay all my bills. I have tuition, room and board, books, and incidental expenses to pay for. I'll try to get a scholarship to cover some of these costs, but I know I will be responsible for a lot of the expenses. If I spend my money now, I won't be able to pay for my education. I need to save money for my education.

I first have to get to school and then, of course, I want to return to my family for important festivals and occasions. Going back and forth will be costly, but worth it. Emergencies could arrive at any moment. I might have an unexpected illness while I am at school. There might be costs that won't covered by the school insurance. One of my family members may need help, I will have to send them money. You can't predict emergencies like this, but you can be prepared. I need to save money for these emergencies.
When you are not rich, you cannot spend your money carelessly. You must plan ahead. I know in my life, I will have expenses for my schooling and for travelling to and from my home. I know that I will also have unexpected expenses related to unforeseen emergencies. I must be prepared. I need to save money for these events.

The choice between spending money on tickets to a concert or spending money on jewelry is an easy one. Given this choice, I would buy jewelry. The reasons are obvious, jewelry is an investment; it is permanent; and it is fashionable.
Jewelry like a gold bracelet for example is a very good investment. It is important for women( and for man, too) to have gold jewelry. If you have some serious financial problem, you could always sell your jewelry to help you over any rough spots. You could not sell your used concert ticket.
Jewelry, unless you sell it, is permanent. You always have it ware. Each time you put it on , you will remember the day you bought it. It will give you pleasure for years and years. You could not wear the ticket stub from the concert.
Jewelry is very fashionable. I would feel very smart wearing a beautiful gold bracelet or diamond pin. People would comment and tell me how much they loved my jewelry. They would compliment me on my good taste.
I would feel very rich with my jewelry. I would have a good investment which is permanent and fashionable. Then, when someone invites me to a concert( and pays for my ticket), I will have something beautiful to wear.

A person may be well educated, but not able to perform a job proficiently. A doctor may know how to treat childhood diseases, but not be able to train medical students to perform surgery. An accountant may be able to balance a company's accounts, but not be able to help the company's executives invest their money.

剛剛好考到900分，我是非常滿意的，因?yàn)槲抑雷约旱幕A(chǔ)與眾多大牛無法比，我本來的目標(biāo)是保800沖900，當(dāng)時(shí)都想好了分?jǐn)?shù)只要不夠800，我就立刻重考去。
本人大三，英語一直都屬于還不錯的水平，以前打下的基礎(chǔ)，大二下再一次考六級，516，收手不考了，反正4、6級都是裸考的，就打算考點(diǎn)別的來證明一下英語水平。了解到托業(yè)的考試較為方便，而且貌似也得到不少企業(yè)認(rèn)證 ，于是就決定考托業(yè)，而且是堅(jiān)決不能裸考了。去年12月交錢報(bào)名今年3月的托業(yè)，在二手書店買了兩本真題集 ，寒假在家也沒什么心情復(fù)習(xí)，還算是記多了一些單詞吧，寒假也不算完全頹廢過去了。我的備考托業(yè)嚴(yán)格來說只有20天，可能看了上面的介紹會覺得我是吹噓成績的，20天復(fù)習(xí)就考到900分。其實(shí)不是這樣的，我以前對待英語考試的態(tài)度確實(shí)不夠認(rèn)真，但這20天用功復(fù)習(xí)我的收獲很大。20天，是因?yàn)榈任乙庾R到要開始復(fù)習(xí)了，才發(fā)現(xiàn)只剩20天，所以我必須努力，才能考過去。我用的資料是：

新托業(yè)聽力詳解及實(shí)戰(zhàn)試題 做了7篇

除了superb是在二手書店買的，其余有些是借圖書館、同學(xué)的，還有就是在大家網(wǎng)下載。
我的時(shí)間有限，所以做的題不多。
有準(zhǔn)備一本錯題本，抄寫錯了的Part5、6題，還有不認(rèn)識的單詞。從大三下開學(xué)第一天，我便堅(jiān)持早起，早餐后就去教室自習(xí)。每天早上就是我的練習(xí)時(shí)間，這個(gè)時(shí)間我能夠保證。第一周是練套題，superb1順利做完。還記得第一次做托業(yè)題，Superb1的第1套，拿了720分，囧到了。我做套題的分?jǐn)?shù)基本是在800以上，不過也有幾次突然就掉到700多分去了。夜晚我也沒有課，因此會進(jìn)行單項(xiàng)加練。第一周是用全真題庫Part5、6練習(xí)語法，第二周是練聽力。還特地買了個(gè)新耳機(jī)，誘惑自己好好聽力。因?yàn)槲艺Z法一直都很差勁，從開始練習(xí)到結(jié)束托業(yè)備考，每次Part5、6加起來我都錯15~25個(gè)，真是心都碎了。后來我意識到我無法在短期之內(nèi)提升我的語法水平，于是我將重心轉(zhuǎn)移到聽力去了，我覺得語法我只能由他去了……這次我的閱讀只有410分，我知道肯定是語法出了問題。說起語法的問題，慢慢地練題、抄錯題，我發(fā)現(xiàn)我錯的題多數(shù)是因?yàn)樵~匯不認(rèn)識 ，而不是真正的語法不會。3.17這次我在Part5也是遇到好幾道我都不知道選項(xiàng)是啥意思的，所以只能蒙了。歸根究底，準(zhǔn)備的時(shí)間過短，來不及背單詞，詞匯量是需要積累的。閱讀方面我一直都做得挺好，托業(yè)的閱讀比4、6級的舒服，基本不繞圈圈 ，看到什么就是選什么。認(rèn)真仔細(xì)點(diǎn)就沒問題了，機(jī)考的時(shí)候記得拉進(jìn)度條，別漏題了。進(jìn)入第二周的備考，我發(fā)現(xiàn)自己進(jìn)入了瓶頸期。當(dāng)時(shí)是開始做Superb2，各種錯，聽力錯，閱讀錯，幾次都只有700來分。當(dāng)時(shí)就立即停止刷套題 ，決定停一下看看哪里出問題了，因?yàn)槲抑乐灰^了那個(gè)階段就會有很大的進(jìn)步。當(dāng)時(shí)我看錯題本，回顧自己的錯誤。還有就是經(jīng)常上大家網(wǎng)，看牛人的帖子，看牛人的經(jīng)驗(yàn)，根據(jù)前人的經(jīng)驗(yàn)改善自己的備考方法。我相信每個(gè)人都有自己的備考方式，但當(dāng)自己的路走不通時(shí)，就是時(shí)候看下別人的方法了。我就發(fā)現(xiàn)我在聽力的方法是錯的，之前做聽力，特別容易走神，走神就算了，因?yàn)樵诤髞砭毩?xí)多了就習(xí)慣了，能夠集中注意力應(yīng)付45分鐘聽力。每次在Part3、4時(shí)我就不知道是聽聽力好還是做題選題好，整個(gè)人凌亂了，到頭來選項(xiàng)有把握的沒幾個(gè)。瓶頸期時(shí)我忽然就決定，聽錄音，看題，但是不動筆選擇 ，心中記住答案。然后自此之后我就找到門路，聽力時(shí)不再緊張，后來基本保持錯誤《聽力詳解》10+，《官方指南》5+，所以我是有幻想過聽力滿分的，這次490，雖然沒滿分，但也很滿意。最后做了《官方指南》，題目確實(shí)比較容易，邏輯關(guān)系也挺清晰的。Superb1、2感覺題目有些題目答案怪怪的，邏輯也不太對勁。但也只是作為練習(xí)，懶得換練習(xí)題了就繼續(xù)認(rèn)真對待。再最后我試用了官網(wǎng)以及?？季W(wǎng)的上機(jī)，我覺得真的很有必要，我第一次用時(shí)就漏做了不少題?？记耙煌碛捎谛判母鞣N不足，買了?？季W(wǎng)一套題來做，是905分，嗯，信心一下回來了。正式考，考場是本校，所以就能很淡定地走過去。隔壁位是位華為的先生，考前和我聊了好久，所以氣氛我覺得還挺輕松的，一點(diǎn)都不緊張，就按部就班地考完了。
真題感覺難度適中，做得比較舒服，不會做的就不會做了，沒辦法。
