General Introduction
I am a third year master major in automation at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, P. R. China. With tremendous interest in Industrial Engineering, I am writing to apply for acceptance into your Ph.D. graduate program.
Education background
In 1995, I entered the Nanjing University of Science & Technology (NUST) -- widely considered one of the China’s best engineering schools. During the following undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished among the whole department. I was granted First Class Prize every semester,In 1999, I got the privilege to enter the graduate program waived of the admission test.
At the period of my graduate study, my overall GPA(3.77/4.0) ranked top 5% in the department. In the second semester, I became teacher assistant that is given to talented and matured students only. This year, I won the Acer Scholarship as the one and only candidate in my department, which is the ultimate accolade for distinguished students endowed by my university. Presently, I am preparing my graduation thesis and trying for the honor of excellent Graduation Thesis.
Research eXPerience and academic activity
When a sophomore, I joined the Association of AI Enthusiast and began to narrow down my interest for my future research. With the tool of OpenGL and Matlab, I designed a simulation program for transportation scheduling system. It is now widely used by different research groups in NUST. I assumed and fulfilled a sewage analysis & dispose project for Nanjing sewage treatment plant. This was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.
In retrospect, I find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and eXPerience, which has prepared me for the Ph.D. program. My future research interests include: Network Scheduling Problem, Heuristic Algorithm research (especially in GA and Neural network), Supply chain network research, Hybrid system performance analysis with Petri nets and Data Mining.

I graduated from****** College in July,**** and major in finance. Then, I was a teacher in abc, When I was a senior school student, I am interested in thought and began to read a certain classic work of Marxism, especially I finished reading “the florilegium of Mao ZeDong”. From then on, I have dabbled in more and more theoretical works and accumulated great interests in theory study, especially in Marxism.I have a dream, a dream of my study.
I wish devote my whole life and energy into the development of the Marxism. If I have the opportunity to study in abc University, I’ll dabble in as much as document about the specialty as possible. If it is possible, I want to get the primary accomplishment in my major, at least, a stable basis.Personally, for today’s China, the first task to the development of Marxism is a process of construction.
That’s to say, we should understand Marxism mostly from the aspect of construction and development of social society. Only when our socialistic country has a more rapid and balance development than the capitalistic, we can enhance the attractiveness and persuasion of Marxism eventually. Thank you !

我叫劉**，因?yàn)槊值木壒?，我在網(wǎng)上習(xí)慣于把自己叫做“星之女王”。不要以為我太狂妄哦，因?yàn)樾切潜旧砑绕椒灿珠W光，所以我喜歡她們。當(dāng)然也希望自己成為眾多星星中的一顆。如果有一天，你在網(wǎng)上遇見(jiàn)一個(gè)叫“星之舞”的女孩，那一定是我——19歲，猴，處女座……
當(dāng)然，我有著與星星一樣極為平凡的外貌：不大不小的眼睛，但很明亮;不高不矮的鼻子;不算大也不算小的嘴巴;白皙的皮膚，一個(gè)不長(zhǎng)也不短的馬尾小辮，高高地翹在我的腦后，一晃一晃地，非常頑皮……(不過(guò)現(xiàn)在媽媽給我把頭發(fā)剪短了)

我還喜歡吉他，剛學(xué)了兩節(jié)課，我就開(kāi)始彈和弦了。我現(xiàn)在已經(jīng)學(xué)會(huì)了《多年以前》《散步》《紅河谷》《童年》等好多優(yōu)美動(dòng)聽(tīng)的曲子……
你要問(wèn)我為什么這么熱愛(ài)音樂(lè)，其實(shí)我也不知道。可是，當(dāng)我置身于音樂(lè)的旋律中時(shí)，我就感受到了莫大的享受。
我還喜歡奧林匹克數(shù)學(xué)，因?yàn)樗梢蚤_(kāi)發(fā)出國(guó)留學(xué)網(wǎng)的智力，讓我的腦袋不停地轉(zhuǎn)阿轉(zhuǎn)。一道道難題就像一座座城堡，雖然很難攻克，但是，只要我開(kāi)動(dòng)腦筋，就可以感受到成功的喜悅。
當(dāng)然，美中肯定有不足，我的不足之處就是很馬虎，天天在家里找東西，今天戴的手表，明天就找不著了，什么東西都到處亂放。唉!家里人都拿我沒(méi)辦法，別看我在生活中很馬虎，可我做題并不馬虎，我能細(xì)心檢查每道題。但是，偶爾也會(huì)有粗心的時(shí)候，就像我那次做題，因?yàn)椴徽J(rèn)真審題，卷子上明明要求化簡(jiǎn)比，我卻做成求比值了! 慘阿，暈阿，faint!就因?yàn)檫@個(gè)，老師給我扣了4分。經(jīng)過(guò)這好幾次的教訓(xùn)，我今后一定要改正馬虎這個(gè)壞習(xí)慣，?？刹皇谴档呐?相信我吧!
