Engaged in hotel and catering business has been my dream for a long time. I have been thinking privately to choose my favorite major in high school and it is also my motivation to study. So I choose Tourism Management (biasing towards hotel management) as my major in university.
The learning contents of my major are more comprehensive, which makes me able to contact much knowledge in related fields. Such studies have made me benefit a lot, understand the knowledge related to the tourism industry and the catering industry more comprehensively, and have a solid foundation and good capacity and further specify the direction of my development-hotel management in the course of continuous learning improvement. With a goal in mind, I have been trying to do well in each step after entering university and reasonably arrange my study and life. At the same time of learning professional knowledge with great efforts and maintaining good grades, I have actively joined the school club activities, organized and participated in various school activities and public-service activities (AIDS Day publicity, care for the children left behind, etc.), and established the “Association for Learning” with several excellent students, which is an organization providing services for students who take part in the entrance exams for postgraduate schools, graded examinations and English studies, etc. The association was awarded The 10 Best College Associations by Chengdu Youth League in 2009. I have ever served as: Vice Minister of the Department of Culture and Sports of the school Student Apartment Management Committee, Minister of the school “Association for Learning”, Director of the Secretary Department of the school Psychological Development Association; obtained the scholarship and won the title of “Excellent Student Cadre” during the 2007/2008 academic year. The full life and good professional basis in the first and second college life have not only made me mature, enhanced my social skills, but also increased my confidence in the future study. It seems to me that Hotel Management is definitely a good choice. The rapid take-off of the Chinese economy and the rising living standard of the people have promoted the constant development of the tourism industry, and its development speed and potential can not be ignored. Therefore, I have always been full of confidence in the tourism industry and the related catering industry. The college I study in has education cooperation with Perth Institute of Tourism and Hospitality and the combination of Chinese and Australian teaching method lets me learn a lot of specialized knowledge, while in the course of study, I have not only found that there is still a certain gas between our school’s education quality of the major and the internationally advanced level, but also discovered the advantage of foreign education and the advancement and perfection of their hospitality industry. So I determine to go abroad for further studies. Your school’s learning environment and education quality are what I have dreamed of and I have been paying attention to the situation and development of your school, especially the information about the major of hospitality. 一、學(xué)生住宿
一般國(guó)內(nèi)的學(xué)生，在新生身份時(shí)期，會(huì)更傾向于選擇學(xué)校提供的宿舍，因?yàn)樽∷扌枰诔鰢?guó)前確定，而宿舍的預(yù)約可以直接在線上進(jìn)行，安全而且可靠，抵達(dá)之后辦理入住也很方便。
但是宿舍其實(shí)是很不方便的，尤其是大家還需要和不同國(guó)籍的人住在一起，會(huì)面臨文化差異帶來(lái)的各種生活摩擦，所以大部分的學(xué)生在宿舍預(yù)定到期之后，會(huì)選擇搬出去自己租房。
二、學(xué)生吃飯
食堂可以提供專(zhuān)屬折扣，憑學(xué)生證可以享受很高得優(yōu)惠，政府會(huì)為食堂進(jìn)行補(bǔ)貼，這一點(diǎn)和國(guó)內(nèi)差不多，而且可選擇的類(lèi)型也是比較齊全的，不過(guò)遺憾的是沒(méi)有中餐，如果想吃的話只能出去吃或者自己做。
不過(guò)食堂開(kāi)放的時(shí)間并不是全天，一般是中午到下午，集中在11：00-18：00之間，只有部分學(xué)校會(huì)在周末開(kāi)放，一頓飯的均價(jià)在2-3歐之間，劃算而且方便，不要輕易下館子，會(huì)很貴。
三、學(xué)生出行
公交、地鐵、電車(chē)都屬于月票可使用的范圍，大家直接辦一張通用的月票，會(huì)更加方便一些，城市的差異會(huì)帶來(lái)定價(jià)的不同，一般一個(gè)月需要30-35歐之間。
學(xué)習(xí)和生活的節(jié)奏，在這里其實(shí)并不快，所以大家還可以選擇騎自行車(chē)的方式，這也是本地人最喜歡的出行方式之一，只要時(shí)間充足，完全可以選擇騎車(chē)，不需要花錢(qián)，對(duì)環(huán)境也沒(méi)有污染。
四、學(xué)生購(gòu)物
芬蘭的時(shí)尚走的是簡(jiǎn)約風(fēng)，從大熱的北歐性冷淡的風(fēng)格，就可以看出在日常中，本國(guó)的居民其實(shí)并不是很喜歡熱鬧的顏色，所以大家到了之后在采購(gòu)東西的時(shí)候，也需要考慮到這方面的習(xí)俗。
