As a high school student in China， I had to concentrate on the College Entrance Examination (CEE)， even so， books not related to the exams were never excluded from my life. Unfortunately when sitting in the exam in June， 20__， I was so nervous that I didn’t score well in the CEE exam. I eolled in the department of Computer Science in Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Any attempt to persuade myself to focus on my major turned out to be a failure at the beginning of my college life. After several terms， I realized that I would never be interested in being a programmer or an engineer. At that moment， I lost my direction and objectives.My persistence in reading saved me from the dark situation. With the questions in my mind， I started to read many relevant books. I was lucky to read the book “Jack: Straight from the Gut”by Jack Welch， in Which John A. Byrne makes a clear illustration that the management is important for a company. When I was a junior， I ran a bookshop by myself near my school. I should manage not only the finance in the shop but also the employees in my shop even made some strategies to enlarge the business in my shop to hold on the run the shop. From this， my interpersonal skills and the capacity in business has been greatly developed， definitely I was increasingly interested in what I was doing. By December， 20__， I had finally determined to take business management as my career instead of IT. To accumulate more relevant knowledge， I strived to gain more practical work experience in some big companies.

Fortunately， as a senior， I began conducting an internship in the Architecture Company in Zhejiang Province. Over six months， I worked as an assistant of the manager to harmonize the relationship between the different departments in this company and to draft some management system， which broadened my perspective of management conditions and business performance in different industries. The experience showed me that management is much more important than that of I thought in big companies. After graduation， I continued my work in this company. 我們對寫作的方式十分感興趣，申請人如何講述非常重要——用清晰、準(zhǔn)確的方式表達(dá)思想。在一所充斥著高素質(zhì)候選人的學(xué)校里，決策的依據(jù)并非是數(shù)據(jù)和公式。個人自述幫助招生辦做出理性的、但最終還是主觀的判斷。如果一所學(xué)校接一所學(xué)校地咨詢，你就會發(fā)現(xiàn)個人自述的重要性越來越大。

是否具有對其職業(yè)的綜合反思能力

在一篇個人自述中，我們要求申請人將他們的過去和未來有機(jī)地結(jié)合起來。我們把這種自傳叫作“職業(yè)目標(biāo)”自傳。它為我們提供了確鑿的信息，同時也可以確定申請人是否具有對自己及其職業(yè)的綜合性反思能力。通常的情況是，即使是那些按照傳統(tǒng)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)最聰明的人也做不到這一點。

The business units that I have covered so far have helped me develop skillswhich can help me prepare for university life.At my college,a significantamount of learning is delivered via lectures,however many of the modulesstudied require me to conduct research,develop independent study skills and usemy own initiative.I strongly believe that the diverse methods of learning thatI have developed will help me succeed at a higher level.

My mother is a carer in a nursing home.Her dedication to her work and thepositive impact her work has had on the people being helped inspired me todevelop the passion for helping others.

This inspiration enhanced my interest in psychology and led me to conductindependent reading into clinical psychology so that I may understand howpatients cope with psychological distress.I believe higher education will giveme an excellent opportunity to study psychology in greater depth.

A lot of my family have studied at university level and since childhood Ihave been taught to appreciate the great importance of education and thepositive impact it has on an individual's life.My father and sister haveattended university and my Father always speaks about the change it made to hislife.This understanding has motivated me to apply for higher education anddevelop my career in the field of psychology.
