  高中英語(yǔ)做好中英翻譯題的方法

  一、分析句子結(jié)構(gòu)、尋找合適的句型

  中文必須仔細(xì)讀,一定要看的就是題目給我們的關(guān)鍵字或關(guān)鍵的詞組,也就是我們常說(shuō)的key words。尤其是最后兩句翻譯句子,它們大都在句子結(jié)構(gòu)上提高了難度。讀什么?讀出句子結(jié)構(gòu):對(duì)于簡(jiǎn)單句,辨別出主謂賓,分清定語(yǔ)、同位語(yǔ)和狀語(yǔ);對(duì)于并列句,記住兩個(gè)語(yǔ)法意義上獨(dú)立的分句,須由連詞連接起來(lái);對(duì)于復(fù)合句,須區(qū)分定語(yǔ)從句,名詞性從句以及狀語(yǔ)從句。一般來(lái)說(shuō),中譯英的句型可分為三大類:1.簡(jiǎn)單句;2.并列句;3.復(fù)合句;同時(shí)我們也要注意非謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞及其他一些特殊結(jié)構(gòu)?;仡櫧鼛啄甑母呖荚囶}時(shí),也不難發(fā)現(xiàn)試題中考了一些特殊句式。如:It句型(近幾年考得較為頻繁)、倒裝句、with結(jié)構(gòu)。

  例1: 昨天我的電腦壞了。(wrong)

  解析:本題考查:1)簡(jiǎn)單句There be結(jié)構(gòu);2)wrong的用法;3)中英文表達(dá)的差異。

  譯句:There was something wrong with my computer yesterday.

  例2: 遇到困難的時(shí)候,我們需要的不是彼此埋怨,而是互相幫助。(not…but)

  解析:本題考查:1)復(fù)合句:when引導(dǎo)的狀語(yǔ)從句;what引導(dǎo)的主語(yǔ)從句;2)not…but結(jié)構(gòu);3)“彼此埋怨”的英文翻譯。

  譯句:When(we are)in difficulty/When we meet with difficulties/When we have difficulties ,what we need is not to blame each other but to help each other.

  例3:我們能做什么來(lái)阻止這種疾病蔓延呢?(prevent)

  分析:如果有學(xué)生沒(méi)有讀全中文原句的話,就很有可能看成是以前所做的“我們要做些什么來(lái)阻止這種疾病的蔓延”,而譯為We should do something to prevent the spread of this disease.因?yàn)檫@個(gè)原因而造成扣分,就太不應(yīng)該了。

  譯句:What can we do to prevent the spread of this disease?

  例4:他很有可能通過(guò)自己的努力得到駕駛執(zhí)照。(likely)

  譯句:He is likely to get the driving license with his own efforts.

  分析:有些學(xué)生一看到有可能,就會(huì)想到自己比較熟悉的possible,想當(dāng)然地翻譯成It is possible that…的結(jié)構(gòu)。其實(shí),學(xué)生對(duì)likely這個(gè)key word的使用也是會(huì)的,完全能夠使用be likely to do或It’s likely that…的結(jié)構(gòu)。

  例5:上海近幾年經(jīng)歷了許多變化,如今已成為世界聞名的經(jīng)濟(jì)中心。(go through)

  分析:乍一看,學(xué)生很容易輕易下筆,Shanghai has gone through…,it has become…,這已成為很多學(xué)生的一個(gè)習(xí)慣,句子和句子中隨便用逗號(hào)隔開,英語(yǔ)不像中文,必須要考慮到句子的結(jié)構(gòu),逗號(hào)也不能隨意使用。而此句中,就要想到用并列句中的連接詞and來(lái)連接兩個(gè)成分。

  譯句:Shanghai has gone through many changes and now it has become a world-famous economic center.

  例6:我為這些話所深深感動(dòng),后來(lái)我就把它們寫在圣誕賀卡上。(impress)

  分析:在注意到impress使用的基礎(chǔ)上,盡管從原句中無(wú)法讀出如此…以至于…的意思,但要想到句中缺少一定的連接詞,這時(shí)就可以運(yùn)用到so…that…結(jié)構(gòu)。

  譯句:I was so impressed by these words that I used them later for a Christmas card.
