第一節(jié) 閱讀表達 (共5小題;每小題2分,共10分)
How could we exist without the Internet? That’s how most of us keep in touch with friends, find homework support, research a cool place to visit, or find out the latest news. But besides the millions of sites to visit and things to do, the Internet offers lots of ways to waste time — and even get into trouble. And some people you meet online might try to take advantage of you — financially or physically.
The first rule of safe surfing? Remain as anonymous (匿名的) as possible. That means keeping all private information private. Most credible (可信的) people and companies will never ask for this type of information online. So if someone does, be careful because they may be up to no good.
In chat rooms, use a nickname that’s different from your screen name. That way, if you ever find yourself in a conversation that makes you uncomfortable, you can exit without having to worry that someone knows your screen name and can track (跟蹤) you down by email. Meeting online friends face to face carries more risks than other types of friendships because it’s so easy for people to pretend to be something they’re not when you
can’t see them or talk to them in person.
If you don’t recognize the sender of a picture that needs to be downloaded, delete it without opening it to avoid getting a virus on your machine. Virus protection software is a must for every computer. If you do invest in protective software, you’ll need to keep it updated (更新的) to be sure it continues to do its job.
56. What do we usually do with the Internet? (within 14 words)
57. If someone asks for your private information, what should you do? (within 10 words)
58. Why should we use a nickname in chat rooms? (within 16 words)
59. What should we do if we are asked to download an anonymous picture? (within 8 words)
60. How can we make our protective software work well? (within 8 words)

Dear teachers and students,
As we know, air pollution is serious environmental problem in our city. Every day we had to take in very dirty air, that isn’t good for our health. To make sure the air fresh, we should keep the following suggestions on mind. Firstly, we should take a bus or ride a bicycle as much as possible instead of drive a car. Secondly, we shouldn’t throw litter here and there but put them into the dustbin. Thirdly, some factories should be closed and moved out of the city. Finally, we need to plant many trees to make the air fresher. Let’s take action and try your best to make the air in the city cleaner!
Thank you!

書面表達
One possible version:
This summer, I made a wonderful trip to Qingdao. Since I was a child, I have been dreaming of visiting Qingdao. This summer, my parents allowed me to travel alone, so it was natural that Qingdao became my first choice.
I spent three days there. On the first day, I went to the famous Bathing Beach, where I swam in the sea for the first time. The next day, I went to climb the Mountain Lao, a mountain famous for Taoism. It greatly impressed me with its beautiful scenery and rich culture. On the last day, I visited Zhanqiao Pier, where I took many beautiful photos.
This trip is really of great benefit to me. For one thing, it broadened my horizons. For another, it made me learn how to take care of myself and deal with the problems by myself.
