萬(wàn)圣節(jié)的常用英語(yǔ)場(chǎng)景對(duì)話

　　Hello everyone. I believe that most of you have heard about Halloween. Today, I drafted a short conversation about this popular holiday in the U.S..

　　J: Hey Laura, we are going to haunted house this Saturday night, are you coming with us?

　　我們周六晚上要去鬼屋，你要跟我們一起去么?

　　L: Is that for Halloween?

　　是為了萬(wàn)圣節(jié)?

　　J: Of course! Halloween is coming!

　　當(dāng)然了，萬(wàn)圣節(jié)馬上就到了!

　　L: Sounds interesting. Actually I am curious about Halloween.

　　聽(tīng)著很有趣，我對(duì)萬(wàn)圣節(jié)很好奇呢!

　　J: You want me to give you a brief introduction of Halloween?

　　想聽(tīng)我給你大概科普一下不?

　　L: Sure.

　　當(dāng)然啦!

　　J: Halloween is a holiday celebrated on October 31 every year. Long time ago, people believed that witches gathered together and ghosts roamed the world on Halloween. So, going to haunted house is very popular for Halloween celebration.

　　萬(wàn)圣節(jié)是十月三十一慶祝的節(jié)日。很久之前，人們相信巫師們聚集和鬼魂游蕩都在這天。所以萬(wàn)圣節(jié)也很流行去鬼屋受驚嚇的!

　　L: Oh, I see. I saw a lot of people buying pumpkins.

　　明白了，我看見(jiàn)好多人正買(mǎi)南瓜呢!

　　J: Yes, people carved a smile face on one side of the pumpkin. A candle is usually placed inside. In addition, dressing up in costume is a popular custom for celebration as well. I bought a vampire costume last year, it was funny.

　　是啊，人們給南瓜的一片刻上笑臉，蠟燭是一般放在南瓜里面的。當(dāng)然還要穿上服裝慶祝。我去年買(mǎi)了個(gè)吸血鬼制服，挺好玩的。

　　L: Do we need to dress up when we are going to haunted house?

　　那我們?nèi)ス砦菀┠且路?

　　J: It’s up to you. I am tired of buying costumes.

　　你定吧，我已經(jīng)不喜歡買(mǎi)了。

　　L: I also saw kids wearing costumes and knocking the doors to ask for candies.

　　我也看見(jiàn)了小孩穿著那制服敲門(mén)要糖呢

　　J: It is trick or treating, which is popular for young kids.They dressed in different costumes and asked for treats like candies from house to house. If they don’t get any treat, they may play a trick on that house.

　　那個(gè)叫不給糖就搗蛋，小孩喜歡玩。他們穿著不同的制服挨家挨戶要糖。如果沒(méi)要到，可能就要惡作劇了。

　　L: Thanks for letting me know so much about Halloween. You are so nice. Thanks for inviting me, I am going to that haunted house with you.

　　謝謝你跟我說(shuō)了這么多!謝謝你要請(qǐng)我，我跟你去鬼屋玩。

　　J: All right! I will pick you up on Saturday at 7pm.

　　行吧，周六晚上七點(diǎn)我來(lái)接你。

　　L: Ok, I will see you then.

　　好的，到時(shí)候見(jiàn)!

　　J: Bye.
