　　代詞用于表示時間

　　不少代詞可以用作形容詞，修飾表示時間的名詞，構(gòu)成慣用搭配。

　　this/that, these/those

　　(1)this, that, these, those修飾表示時間的名詞，分別表示現(xiàn)在或者過去某段時間。

　　比如：

　　this morning今天早晨

　　that morning那天早晨

　　these days這些天，現(xiàn)在

　　in those days那些日子

　　this winter今年冬天

　　that winter那年冬天

　　these years這幾年

　　in those years那幾年

　　I got a telephone call from him this morning.

　　今天早晨我接到他的一個電話。

　　We had a good time in the park that morning.

　　那天早晨我們在公園玩得很高興。

　　It has been dry this year.

　　今年天氣一直干旱。

　　The weather was bad that year.

　　那年天氣很壞。

　　They are making progress these days.

　　這幾天他們在進步。

　　Few people had fridges in their houses in those days.

　　那些日子里很少人家中有冰箱。

　　(2)“今天”應該表達為today(adv.)，不說this day。

　　“那天”可以表達為that day。

　　“今天晚上”應該表達為this evening或者tonight(adv.)，不說成this night或者today night。

　　“那天晚上”可以表達為that evening或者that night。

　　(3)to this day至今 是慣用語。

　　比如：

　　He is still remembered as a hero to this day.

　　至今他還作為英雄被人們記得。

　　(4)this time

　　this time這一次

　　I will give you more homework this time.

　　這一次我將多給你們一點作業(yè)。

　　this time… 這個時候

　　This time yesterday，they were watching the final of the World Cup.

　　昨天這個時候，他們正在觀看世界杯足球賽決賽。
