　　(1)用作代詞或者形容詞，many很多 與可數(shù)名詞連用，而much很多 與不可數(shù)名詞連用。

　　比如：

　　Many of the mistakes in the test paper are common.

　　這份試卷的錯(cuò)誤中有許多是常見(jiàn)錯(cuò)。

　　He made many mistakes in the test.

　　他在測(cè)驗(yàn)中犯了許多錯(cuò)誤。

　　Much of the work has been finished.

　　這項(xiàng)工作的許多部分已完成。

　　Much work has been done to make our school more beautiful.

　　為了使我們的學(xué)校更美麗，已做了許多工作。

　　(2)在疑問(wèn)句與否定句中許多many與much。

　　比如：

　　Are there many birds here in spring?

　　春天這兒有許多鳥(niǎo)嗎?

　　Is there much snow here in winter?

　　冬天這兒下雪很多嗎?

　　We haven’t many exercises to do today.

　　今天我們沒(méi)有許多練習(xí)要做。

　　We haven’t much homework to do today.

　　今天我們沒(méi)有許多作業(yè)要做。
