　　定冠詞只有1個，就是the，其用法如下：

　　1、定冠詞用在名詞前，表示某個或某些特定的人或事物，例如：

　　Lucy divided the apples into two halves.

　　(露西把那些蘋果分成了兩半。)

　　The man in black is my teacher.

　　(穿黑衣服那個男人是我的老師。)

　　2、定冠詞用在可數(shù)名詞單數(shù)前，泛指某一類人或事物，例如：

　　The camel is a useful animal.

　　(駱駝是一種有用的動物。)

　　The tiger is a dangerous animal.

　　(老虎是一種危險的動物。)

　　3、定冠詞用在第二次提到的名詞之前，例如：

　　I bought some apples. The apples are very sweet.

　　(我剛買了一些蘋果，這些蘋果很甜。)

　　4、定冠詞用于指說話雙方都知道的人或事物，例如：

　　Please close the door.

　　(請把門關(guān)上。)

　　He is investigating the cause of the fire.

　　(他正在調(diào)查這場大火的原因。)

　　5、定冠詞用在play和樂器中間，例如：

　　play the piano(彈鋼琴)

　　play the violin(拉小提琴)

　　6、定冠詞用于序數(shù)詞前表示順序，例如：

　　the first row(第一排)

　　the second day(第二天)

　　7、定冠詞用于形容詞和副詞的最高級前面，例如：

　　This is the most interesting novel I have ever read.

　　(這是我所看過的小說中最有趣的一本。)

　　8、定冠詞用在世界上獨一無二的事物前，例如：

　　the sun(太陽)

　　the earth(地球)

　　the moon(月亮)

　　the world(世界)

　　9、定冠詞用在表示江、河、湖、海、山脈、沙漠等的名詞前，例如：

　　the Nile(尼羅河)

　　the Red Sea(紅海)

　　the Gulf of Mexico(墨西哥灣)

　　the Alps(阿爾卑斯山)

　　the Sahara Desert(撒哈拉沙漠)

　　10、定冠詞用在由普通名詞構(gòu)成的公共建筑、機關(guān)團體、黨派、國家、報刊等專有名詞前，例如：

　　the National Gallery(國家美術(shù)館)

　　the Great Wall(長城)

　　the State Council(國務(wù)院)

　　the People’s Republic of China

　　(中華人民共和國)

　　the Washington Post華盛頓郵報

　　11、定冠詞用于某些名詞或者形容詞前，表示這一類人或事物，例如：

　　the rich(富人)

　　the poor(窮人)

　　12、定冠詞與姓氏的復(fù)數(shù)形式連用，表示某某一家人，例如：

　　The Greens came to China in 1984.

　　(格林一家是1984年來中國的。)

　　13、定冠詞用在習(xí)慣詞組中，例如：

　　in the morning(在早晨)

　　in the future(未來)

　　in the end(最終)
