合理安排復習時間
這一個月的復習時間基本上可以分成三個階段,前三個星期,考前一個星期以及考前一到兩天。這是一個循序漸進、查漏補缺的過程,也是一個沖刺的過程。這個月的閱讀復習并不是要大量的做題,而是從另一個角度去閱讀文章,去體會出題思路,然后再從詞匯量上有一定的提高。
所以前三個星期每天只需要練習一篇文章就可以,只是練習的方式和平常要有所區(qū)別。在做這一篇文章的時候必須要規(guī)定時間,也就是二十分鐘完成一篇練習,做完對完答案不可以就放一邊,而要好好分析,精讀一下。精讀的概念就是把文章從頭到尾每句話、每個詞的意思都能搞清楚,尤其是和題目對應的文章部分。精讀完后就要仔細看下做錯的題目,總結一下是什么原因導致做錯,是單詞看不懂,還是句子看不懂,還是說思維方式上有點差距或者某個題型做題方法上還有待改進。這樣做一篇練習然后再精讀分析,一定要花一到兩個小時,閱讀練習的量這也夠了。只是要每天堅持,都要花一到兩個小時去看閱讀,培養(yǎng)一種感覺,這樣積累一個月會把自己的狀態(tài)調整到的。
考前一個星期可以找時間做一次或兩次閱讀模擬,也就是一個小時內完成三篇閱讀文章。這種自測的作用就是能體會到考試時時間緊迫的感覺,了解到自己時間把握上的薄弱點,在的心態(tài)上進行調整。當然做完練習后的主動分析也是必不可少的。
考前2天基本上是屬于沖刺階段,但是對于閱讀來說,平時的功夫更重要,考前1-2天再多做題也不會在閱讀能力上有所提高。所以建議大家考前1-2天可以把以前做過的題目拿出來看,尤其是做錯的題目,然后把一些常見的詞匯整理一下,把前3個星期自己分析過的內容再看一下。如果上過培訓班的同學可以把老師講過的內容尤其是做題方法再溫習一下,然后保持一種穩(wěn)定的心態(tài)去面對考試。
找好復習材料
市面上的雅思考試復習材料層出不窮,但是對于閱讀準備來說的材料還是劍橋系列。在考前練習的材料選擇還是以劍四到劍六為主。在前三個星期的“每天一練”就可以選擇劍橋系列的文章。劍四到劍六一共有12套題目36篇文章,肯定是夠用的。有些同學也許之前已經(jīng)做過,但是隔了一段時間去做劍橋系列的閱讀還是不一定能做好,所以不用擔心以前已經(jīng)做過的問題。同時除了A類的閱讀文章之外,G類的section3那篇文章的長度和題型和A類是差不多的,也可以拿G類section3這篇文章進行練習。其他的如果學有余力的同學可以去看下國外的網(wǎng)站或者材料,例如BBC的中文網(wǎng)站等。但基本上是以劍橋系列的為主,因為更具有針對性,而且對雅思考試的出題思路能有個更好的理解。
機經(jīng)的使用
有很多同學會問閱讀機經(jīng)在準備考試的時候有沒有用,從實際意義上來說,雅思閱讀機經(jīng)的作用并不是很大。因為閱讀只能回憶出大致內容和題型,具體的文章和題目是很難回憶出來的。所以建議考生可以利用機經(jīng)看看最近常考的題型是什么,題材是什么,然后去網(wǎng)上看看相關題材的內容,但是背機經(jīng)就一點用處都沒有了。所以一個月的復習重點我們還是放在文章分析和題目總結上,不要盲目去看所謂的機經(jīng)。

In the earliest stages of man’s development he had no more need of money than animals have. He was content with very simple forms of shelter, made his own rough tools and weapons and could provide food and clothing for himself and his family from natural materials around him. As he became more civilized, however, he began to want better shelter, more efficient tools and weapons, and more comfortable and more lasting clothing than could be provided by his own neighborhood or by the work of his own unskilled hands. At first he got what he wanted by a simple process of exchange. If the smith had any shells left when he had bought his food, he could get stocks of the raw materials of his trade. In some countries quite large things such as cows or camels or even big flat stones were used for trade. Later, pieces of metal, bearing values according to the rarity of the metal and the size of the pieces, or coins were used. Money as we know it had arrived.
