arrive in和arrive at的區(qū)別歸根到底是in和at的區(qū)別。
說at后接小地方，in后接大地方，未免有些籠統(tǒng)。其實，in和at的用法差異不是一個大小就可以說明的。
例如：可以說arrive in a town，也可以說arrive at a town。這里不能簡單地來說arrive in a town中的town比arrive at a town中的town大。
正確的理解應(yīng)該是： 用in時，說話者強調(diào)“人”或“物”進入某地“之內(nèi)”;用at時，說話者則強調(diào)“人”或“物”進入某地“之點”。 當(dāng)這個“某地”較大時，表達(dá)“之內(nèi)”的可能性自然增大，而當(dāng)這個“某地”較小時，表達(dá)“之點”的可能性較大。
