1. 這大概是辦公室電話中最常見的一段對(duì)話了。
我們先來(lái)看第一句:“Chinadaily website. May I help you?”。一般接起電話的人通常會(huì)先報(bào)公司的名字,然后再說(shuō), "May I help you?" 或是如果要更客氣一點(diǎn)的話則可以說(shuō) "How can I help you?" (我該怎么幫你?),意思是我能為你做什么。
不過(guò)如果是機(jī)器應(yīng)答,那么你很可能聽到這樣的一段話:
"Thanks for calling Chinadaily website, please dial the extension or press 0 get to the operator."
感謝你打電話到中國(guó)日?qǐng)?bào)網(wǎng)來(lái),請(qǐng)直接撥分機(jī)號(hào),如需轉(zhuǎn)總機(jī), 請(qǐng)撥“0”。

接電話時(shí),通常我們要先確定一下對(duì)方的身份,避免不必要的騷擾。And you are? 是比較口語(yǔ)化的講法。如果想要問得客氣點(diǎn),我們還可以說(shuō)"Whom I am speaking with?" 或是 "Whom am I talking to?"

確認(rèn)之后,當(dāng)然就是把電話轉(zhuǎn)接給對(duì)方要找的人了。Put someone on the phone 的意思就是請(qǐng)某人聽電話。
如果你是打電話來(lái)找人的一方,你可以說(shuō):"Could you please put Kelly on the phone?" (你能不能請(qǐng)Kelly來(lái)聽電話啊? )
反過(guò)來(lái)如果你是接到電話的人,而對(duì)方要找的是別人,你就可以說(shuō):"Ok. I"ll put her on the phone. Just a second." (好的,我會(huì)請(qǐng)她聽電話, 請(qǐng)稍等一下。)
