首先要熟記：one，two，three，four，five，six，seven，eight，nine， ten。
從個(gè)位起，每隔3位加個(gè)“，”然后還要熟記以下5個(gè)基本“單位”詞：
百=hundred
千=thousand
萬(wàn)=million
十億=billion
萬(wàn)億=trillion
然后是整數(shù)：

第一個(gè)“，”前面的數(shù)字讀成thousand。

20,000=twenty thousand(2萬(wàn)=20個(gè)千)
300,000=three hundred thousand(30萬(wàn)=300個(gè)千)
第二個(gè)“，”前面的數(shù)字讀成million。

20,000,000= twenty million(2千萬(wàn)=20個(gè)百萬(wàn))

第三個(gè)“，”前面的數(shù)字讀成billion。
1,000,000,000=one billion
第四個(gè)“，”前面的數(shù)字讀成trillion。
1,000,000,000,000=one trillion
說(shuō)到具體數(shù)字時(shí)， hundred，thousand，million，billion，trillion都用單數(shù)，例如200= two hundred，3000=three thousand，400,000=five million，12.12億正確的英文譯法是12.12 billion。
不是具體數(shù)字時(shí)，hundred，thousand，million，billion，trillion都用復(fù)數(shù)，例如幾百=hundreds of，這兩條別問(wèn)為什么，記住!
111=one hundred and eleven，123=one hundred and twenty-three。數(shù)數(shù)時(shí)只有hundred后面加and，例如1234=one thousand, two hundred and thirty-four，123,456,789=one hundred and twenty-three million, four hundred and fifty-six thousand, seven hundred and eighty-nine中，只有hundred后加and。
時(shí)間
1.整點(diǎn)，用基數(shù)詞+(o’clock)。例如：6:00讀作six o’clock 或six
2.幾點(diǎn)過(guò)幾分，在分鐘后，小時(shí)前加past(分鐘≦30)。例如：6:05讀作five past six，6:30讀作half past six，6:15讀作a quarter past six。
3.幾點(diǎn)差幾分，在分鐘后，小時(shí)前加to(分鐘≧30)。例如：6:50讀作ten to seven，6:45讀作a quarter to seven
4.日常生活中，常直接讀出小時(shí)、分鐘的具體數(shù)字表示時(shí)間。例如：6:31讀作six thirty-one，16:16讀作sixteen sixteen。
世紀(jì)
可以用the+序數(shù)詞+世紀(jì)century表示，例如the twenty (20th) century表示20世紀(jì);也可用the+百位進(jìn)數(shù)加s表示，百位上的整數(shù)表示的世紀(jì)要比其自身多一個(gè)世紀(jì)，例如the 1900s表示20世紀(jì)。
年代
定冠詞及基數(shù)詞表示的世紀(jì)加十位整數(shù)的復(fù)數(shù)形式表示年代。例如：in the 2020s(in the twenties of the twenty-first century或in the twenty twenties)在二十一世紀(jì)二十年代。
年份
一般寫(xiě)為阿拉伯?dāng)?shù)字，讀時(shí)可以以hundred為單位，例如1802年讀作eighteen hundred and two，1812年讀作eighteen hundred and twelve;也可以把世紀(jì)和年代單位上的數(shù)字分別讀出來(lái)，如1802年可讀作eighteen o two，1812年讀作eighteen twelve。
小數(shù)
用基數(shù)表示，以小數(shù)點(diǎn)(讀作point)為界，左邊是整數(shù)，數(shù)字合起來(lái)讀，右邊是小數(shù)，數(shù)字分開(kāi)讀，0讀作zero或0 [?u]。整數(shù)為零時(shí)，可以省略不讀。例如：0.5讀作zero point five或point five，12.12讀作twelve point one two，25.03讀作twenty-five point o three。

由基數(shù)詞和序數(shù)詞一起表示?；鶖?shù)詞做分子，序數(shù)詞做分母，除了分子是1以外，其他情況下序數(shù)詞都用復(fù)數(shù)形式。
