　　背景知識

　　地鐵是地下高速列車系統(tǒng)。世界上第一個地鐵系統(tǒng)是在倫敦修建的，自1890年以來一直運行。地鐵比公共汽車運行得更快，效率(efficiency)更高。地鐵可以把你送到城市里幾乎任何步履所及的地方。并且，地鐵的價錢便宜，又幫助緩解了城市交通壓力。地鐵的缺點是它經(jīng)常擁擠不堪(crowded)而且噪音(noise)大。
