基本句式 BASIC SENTENCES
邀請(qǐng)就餐
A: Would you like to join me for dinner tonight? 晚上想和我一起吃飯嗎?
B: That would be nice. 太好了。
A: Where would you like to go for dinner? 今天晚上你想去哪兒吃飯?
B: I suggest we go to Onshow Restaurant. 我建議去昂秀餐館。
重點(diǎn)詞組
(A) Would you like to...?
would like+名詞或代詞時(shí)，表示的是“具體要”某樣?xùn)|西;
would like+動(dòng)詞不定式(to do sth.)時(shí)，表示“愿望，喜愛(ài)”，常用于有禮貌地提出邀請(qǐng)，請(qǐng)求或建議。
(B) suggest
1. Suggest表示建議，用法如下：
1) suggest+名詞/代詞 或 suggest+名詞/代詞+to+人，但不能說(shuō)suggest sb sth，即不能加雙賓做賓語(yǔ)。
eg: We suggest him the plan. (Χ) We suggest the plan to him.
2) suggest+doing sth
eg: He suggested going out for a walk. 他建議去外面散會(huì)步。
注意：suggest 不可以加不定式，所以上面的句子不可以這樣寫(xiě)：
He suggested to go out for a walk. (Χ)
3) suggest+(that)+主語(yǔ)+(should) do+sth，其中的should可以省略。
eg: He suggested that you should go there tomorrow.
=He suggested you go there tomorrow.
注意，不可以這樣說(shuō)：He suggested you to go there tomorrow. 也就是說(shuō)suggest不可以加不定式的復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)。
4) It is suggested that +主語(yǔ)+(should) do sth
eg: It is suggested that the work (should) be finished at once.
5) suggestion做主語(yǔ)時(shí)，其后的表語(yǔ)從句也用這個(gè)結(jié)構(gòu)即：
The suggestion is that +主語(yǔ)+should +do sth
eg: His suggestion is that I should leave for Beijing immediately.
2. suggest 表示暗示或表明之意，注意此時(shí)做主語(yǔ)時(shí)后面的表語(yǔ)從句用陳述語(yǔ)氣。
eg: Her yawn suggested that she was sleepy.
她哈欠連天表明她困了。
