My mother is a kind and gentle woman.
我的母親是一位心地善良，性情溫和的女性，
She is always very gentle.
她總是彬彬有禮。
She takes good care of all four of her children andkeep us all at school.
她細(xì)心地照顧孩子們并使他們都上學(xué)讀書。
I have one brother and two sisters. She gives usevery comfort.
我有一個(gè)兄弟，兩個(gè)妹妹，她使我們做每件事都感到舒適。
We all love her and she loves us,too.
我們都愛(ài)她，她也愛(ài)我們。
My mother has too much to do in bringing us up.
為了撫養(yǎng)我們，母親有太多事要做。
As our family is too poor to keep a servant,
因?yàn)槲覀兗液芨F，雇不起傭人。
my mother always has much work to do.
母親總是必須做很多工作。
She gets up very early and sleeps very late everyday.
她每天起早貪黑，
She works hard without complaining.
辛苦地工作,毫無(wú)怨言。
She is also a thrify and industrious woman.
她又是一位節(jié)儉勤勞的婦女。
She saves every cent that she can keeps everything in order.
她盡可能地節(jié)省每一分錢，并且使每一件事情都井井有條。
As she has been busy ever since she was young,
由于年輕時(shí)就一直忙碌，
she looks older than she really is.
所以從外表上看去更顯蒼老。
Her face is wrinkled her hair has become silver-white,
她的臉布滿皺紋，頭發(fā)也變成了灰白，
but she works as hard as ever.
但她仍然像從前一樣辛勤地操勞。
Often she says to us"Work while you work play while you play.
她常對(duì)我們說(shuō):"工作時(shí)工作,玩樂(lè)時(shí)玩樂(lè)。
If you do not work, you will become lazy and of no use to society."
如果不工作,你將變得懶惰，從而無(wú)益于社會(huì)。
What a piece of good advice it is!
這是一番多么好的忠告啊!
We must always keep it in mind.
我們必須珍視它，并將它牢記于心。

My father is a tall man with a pair of glasses.
我的爸爸個(gè)子高高的,戴著一副眼鏡。
Everyone says he is a kind-hearted man.
大家都說(shuō)他是個(gè)好心人。
He often helps his neighbour and stangers whom hedoesn't know at all.
他經(jīng)常幫鄰居排憂解難對(duì)于一些有壓力的陌生人,他也盡力相助。
He has really done a lot for others.
他為別人真是付出了很多很多。
I don't like him to do so because I think it takes too much of his time.
我不同意他這樣做，因?yàn)檫@花費(fèi)了他太多的時(shí)間。
When I discourage him,
每當(dāng)我勸阻他時(shí)，
he always says with a smile,"The world needs warm hearts."
爸爸總是笑著說(shuō):"世界需要熱心腸嘛!"
My father loves his family,and loves his work even better
爸爸熱愛(ài)家庭，更注重事業(yè)，
In the company,he is called a"workaholic" He spends most of his time working,
公司里的人都叫他"工作狂"，他把大部分時(shí)間都用于工作，
and he often forgets to have meals or to go to bed.
為了工作，他經(jīng)常廢寢忘食。
As a result,he doesn't enjoy good health.
過(guò)度的勞累使他的健康狀況欠佳。
My father likes reading in his spare time.He tought me the joys of reading.
爸爸閑暇時(shí)愛(ài)讀書，他告訴我，讀書很有趣。
I became interested in reading little by little.
我漸漸地對(duì)讀書產(chǎn)生了興趣。
Now I enjoy books because they help me in many ways.
我愛(ài)上了書,因?yàn)闀鴮?duì)我?guī)椭艽蟆?/p>
My father has a bad habit--he likes smoking very much. I hate it.
爸爸有個(gè)壞習(xí)慣--愛(ài)吸煙，我不喜歡他吸煙。
See,the house is always full of smoke.
瞧,屋子里充滿了煙味。
I know it's bad for his health as well as mine and mother's
我知道吸煙有害他的健康，對(duì)我和媽媽有害無(wú)益。
I've advise him to give up smoking.I'm sure he will follow my advise some day.
我建議他戒煙,相信總有一天他會(huì)這么做的。
Such is my father.I love him very much.
這就是我爸爸,我很愛(ài)他。
I am proud of having such a good father.
我為有這樣的爸爸而自豪。
