British universities are growing even moredependent on international students from China, according to a report.

The Times Higher Education Supplement highlightedthe latest UK government immigration statistics andfound that the number of study visas granted tostudents from the Chinese mainland rose 10% to 77,290 in the year to March 2017.

At least 10 students lost their chance to attendHarvard College after posting "obscene memes" to aprivate Facebook chat, the main Harvard studentnewspaper reported.

The paper quoted a number of students from the incoming class, who had a range ofresponses, including two who said it was the right approach to withdraw the offers. "I do notknow how those offensive images could be defended," one student said.
