Are You Ignoring That Little Thought
What happened to that brilliant idea that you once had? Did you ignore it because youthought that it was just a little thought ?
Have you ever considered what that little thought would have become if you had acted on yourinstincts or if you had paid more attention to it ?
Imagine a scenario ,where you are sitting at home watching television or reading a book ,suddenly a light buld is turned on in the dark tunnel of your mind as a thought or an ideacrosses your mind . The thought catches your attention but seems so meaningless and you aretempted to discard it , but wait a minute !
That thought could be the potential beginning of the success you have so mush yearned for .As the thought crosses your mind . your senses become alert and you suddenly see apossibility , a realization , a solution , a conclusion , or find the answer to a problem whosesolution has long eluded you .
It is almost as if a divine being has whispered the perfect solution into your ear or awakenedyour sences to a reality thereby bringing illumination to your life . It is like finding the lastpiece of jigsaw puzzle.
This becomes an AHA moment and everything freezes around you as you excitedly try to graspthe practicality of that little but powerful thought .
Your self-confidence and ennthusiasm increase as you become conscious of the greatpossibilties that can arise if that little thought is acted upon . This becomes the moment to buildupon that thought and to write down any ideas that are streaming from that little thought forlater review .
Seemingly meaningless little thought or ideas when acted upon have a potential to explodeinto great projects .
Many successful projects have been born from the little positive thoughts that were carefullynurtured and recognized as tickets to great things .
You may have heard people say many times that it just came to me in a flash moment , a smallidea or seemingly meaningless thought may cross your mind about something you have beenplanning to accomplish .
Don't waste an opportunity to act on a potenntially brilliant idea . You don't have to wait for amajor peers in order for a major idea , a master stratety , or approval from your peers inorder for you to act on that little thought .
That little thought or idea is the beginning of great things if you decide to follow it thought .
The Power of the Dream
When someone looks into your eyes they should see something alive within you. Having a dream is like owning a lighthouse1 which directs you on your journey.
At every turn we come across its mystery. At each new level we become more of the person we were meant to become. In lonely times, when we pass through a storm of disappointment, we find our faith is unshaken, our strength still strong.
Believe in your faith. Set the vision before your eyes. Write down your most sincere dreams and when the opportunity comes, step into your dream. It may take one season or more, but the result is the same. Make big dreams and then go out and make them realities. The highest hopes of the dreamer are revealed with every step taken in their journey to the impossible. For a season we must protect the dream so that it can grow quietly on the inside. But if we tenderly care for our deepest expectations, slowly but surely the dream will become new life.
Dreaming is an act of faith. The light of your expectations will cast off the shadows of a disbelieving world. God has given us the dreamer as a gift to light an unbelieving world.
Find your treasure within and cherish2 it. Tomorrow is waiting for you to take the first step.
Virtue is like a rich stone, best plain set; and surely virtue is best, in a body that is comely, though not of delicate features; and that hath rather dignity of presence, than beauty of aspect.
Neither is it almost seen, that very beautiful persons are otherwise of great virtue; as if nature were rather busy, not to err, than in labor to produce excellency. And therefore they prove accomplished, but not of great spirit; and study rather behavior, than virtue.
But this holds not always:for Augustus Caesar, Titus Vespasianus, Philip le Belle of France, Edward the Fourth of England, Alcibiades of Athens, Ismael the Sophy of Persia, were all high and great spirits; and yet the most beautiful men of their times.
In beauty, that of favor, is more than that of color; and that of decent and gracious motion, more than that of favor.
That is the best part of beauty, which a picture cannot express; no, nor the first sight of the life.
There is no excellent beauty, that hath not some strangeness in the proportion.
A man cannot tell whether Apelles, or Albert Durer, were the more trifler;whereof the one, would make a personage by geometrical proportions; the other, by taking the best parts out of divers faces, to make one excellent. Such personages, I think, would please nobody, but the painter that made them.
Not but I think a painter may make a better face than ever was; but he must do it by a kind offelicity (as a musician that maketh an excellent air in music), and not by rule.
A man shall see faces, that if you examine them part by part, you shall find never a good; and yet altogether do well.If it be true that the principal part of beauty is in decent motion, certainly it is no marvel, though persons in years seem many times more amiable; pulchrorum autumnus pulcher; for no youth can be comely but by pardon, and considering the youth, as to make up the comeliness.Beauty is as summer fruits, which are easy to corrupt, and cannot last; and for the most part it makes a dissolute youth, and an age a little out of countenance; but yet certainly again, if it light well, it maketh virtue shine, and vices blush.
