　　We always convince ourselves that life will be better after we get married, have a baby, thananother. Then we are frustrated that the kids aren't old enough and we'll be more content whenthey are. After that we're frustrated that we have teenagers to deal with. We will certainly behappy when they are out of that stage.

　　我們總是說服自己，認為當我們結(jié)婚、生子后日子會過的更加舒心些。然后我們又被那些小鬼的不懂事搞得不順心，當他們大了些后，情況會好些吧。當孩子到了青春期的時候，(有時)對于如何跟他們好好交流又會使我們很無措。我們都深信當他們過了那個年齡段后，事情就會有些轉(zhuǎn)機。

　　We always tell ourselves that our life will be complete when our spouse gets his or her acttogether. When we get a nice car, and are able to go on a nice vocation when we retire. Thetruth is, there's no better time than right now. If not now, when? Our life will always be filledwith challenges. It's best to admit this to ourselves and decide to be happy anyway.

　　我們總是對自己說，當另一半有條理的過活時，(我們的)人生就會很圓滿。當我們買了一臺漂亮的車子后，我們認為可以在年老退休后開去度假?？墒聦嵣?，再也沒有比當下更好的時間段了，要不是現(xiàn)在這時，那么還能是什么時候呢?我們的人生滿是各種神奇的未知數(shù)。不管怎么說，對你我而言，最好是承認活在當下里的意義然后及時“自己給自己找樂”。

　　One of my favorite quotes comes from Alfred Souza. He said, "for a long time it had seemed tome that life was about to begin - real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way,someting to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debtto be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life."

　　This perspective has helped me to see that there is no way to happiness. Happiness is theway. So treasure every moment that you have.

　　這樣的想法使我認識到，幸福是沒有方式去追求尋找的。因為尋找幸福的過程本身就是幸福。所以珍惜你所擁有的點點滴滴。

　　And remember that time waits for no one. So stop waiting until you finish school, until you goback to school; until you get married, until you get divorced; until you have kids; until youretire; until you get a new car or home; until spring; until you are born again to decide thatthere is no better time than right now to be happy…

　　而且還要牢記時光不會等待垂青你我。于事莫等到你畢業(yè)之后、重返校園之時再去等待(幸福);莫身陷圍城之中，來來往往，進進出出后才去等待(幸福);莫等到你膝下饒子、莫等到你老來歸園、莫等到你了自己的新車、莫等到你喬遷新居、莫等到早春遲來、莫等到你重獲新生后才認識到人生本是‘莫待來日，及時行樂 ’……

　　Happiness is a journey, not a destination. So, work like you don't need money, love like you'venever been hurt, and dance like no one's watching.

　　Greta always said, "dear, keep walking in sunshine!" no matter how terrible my day started, ialways felt sunny walking home from greta’s house-even beneath the winter starlight.

　　葛麗塔總是這樣說：“親愛的，請走在陽光里!”無論我過的每一天是如何糟糕地開始，從葛麗塔的小屋出來走回家的時候，即使是披著冬夜的星光，我都會感覺心情愉悅。

　　I arrived at greta’s house today just after sunset. an ambulance had stopped a few feet fromher door, it’s red lights flashing. when i ran into the old house, greta recognized me right away.

　　這天，我在傍晚后來到了葛麗塔的家。一輛救護停在她家門口附近，紅色的燈在閃爍不停。當我沖進她家的老房子，葛麗塔立刻認出了我。
