為兒女守望一生的媽媽，讀書(shū)的時(shí)候，媽媽在家里等著我們回家，晚歸了，媽媽會(huì)“等門”，工作了，媽媽也依然在等著我們回家。獻(xiàn)給一生都在守望的媽媽。

　　She always leaned to watch for us .

　　Anxious if we were late ,

　　她總在那兒把我們守望，

　　我們晚歸會(huì)使她發(fā)慌，

　　In winter by the window ,

　　In summer by the gate ;

　　冬天里守在窗前

　　夏日里靠在門前。

　　And though we mocked her tenderly ,

　　Who had such foonich care ,

　　我們?cè)埔獾貙⑺芭?/p>

　　這般呵護(hù)似乎超出正常

　　The long way home would seem more safe ,

　　Because she waited there .

　　可漫長(zhǎng)的歸途卻平添了安全

　　因?yàn)橛兴谝笄械芈N望。

　　Her thoughts were all so full of us

　　She never could forget !

　　她心里盛下的卻是我們，

　　卻不曾有一刻的遺忘!

　　And so I think that where she is

　　She must be watching yet,

　　我欣然感到她的那番期待

　　無(wú)論她身處什么地方。

　　Waiting till we come home to her

　　Anxious if we are late

　　守望，一直到我們遠(yuǎn)回到她身旁
