威廉斯詩(shī)歌:Spring and All 春天及一切
《春天及其他》是美國(guó)詩(shī)人威廉·卡洛斯·威廉斯所創(chuàng)作的一首現(xiàn)代詩(shī)。這首詩(shī)描寫(xiě)早春景象,和我們熟悉的傳統(tǒng)詩(shī)文里柔美、明媚的春天形象不同。詩(shī)人筆下的春天,骯臟,雜亂,“沒(méi)有生氣”,“目光昏眩”,并不能給讀者帶來(lái)感官的愉悅??梢哉f(shuō),詩(shī)人寫(xiě)的不是已經(jīng)大肆鋪展開(kāi)的春天,而是包孕著無(wú)限生機(jī)、無(wú)限可能的春天,它不那么甜美、可愛(ài),還殘留著冬天的痕跡,而這正是鄉(xiāng)野早春的本來(lái)面目。
By the road to the contagious hospital
under the surge of the blue
mottled clouds driven from the
northeast—a cold wind. Beyond, the
waste of broad, muddy fields
brown with dried weeds, standing and fallen
patches of standing water
the scattering of tall trees
