Have you thought about what you want people to say about you after you’re gone? Can youhear the voice saying, “He was a great man.” Or “She really will be missed.” What else do theysay?
One of the strangest phenomena of life is to engage in a work that will last long after death.Isn’t that a lot like investing all your money so that future generations can bare interest on it?Perhaps, yet if you look deep in your own heart, you’ll find something drives you to make thiskind of contribution—something drives every human being to find a purpose that lives onafter death.
Do you hope to memorialize your name? Have a name that is whispered with reverent awe?Do you hope to have your face carved upon 50 ft of granite rock? Is the answer really thatsimple? Is the purpose of lifetime contribution an ego-driven desire for a mortal being to havean immortalname or is it something more?
A child alive today will die tomorrow. A baby that had the potential to be the next Einstein willdie from complication is at birth. The circumstances of life are not set in stone. We are not allmeant to live life through to old age. We’ve grown to perceive life as a full cycle with a certainnumber of years in between. If all of those years aren’t lived out, it’s a tragedy. A tragedybecause a human’s potential was never realized. A tragedy because a spark was snuffed outbefore it ever became a flame.
By virtue of inhabiting a body we accept these risks. We expose our mortal flesh to the laws ofthe physical environment around us. The trade off isn’t so bad when you think about it. Theproblem comes when we construct mortal fantasies of what life should be like. When lifedoesn’t conform to our fantasy we grow upset, frustrated, or depressed.
We are alive; let us live. We have the ability to experience; let us experience. We have the abilityto learn; let us learn. The meaning of life can be grasped in a moment. A moment so brief itoften evades our perception.
What meaning stands behind the dramatic unfolding of life? What single truth can we graspandhang onto for dear life when all other truths around us seem to fade with time?
These moments are strung together in a series we call events. These events are strungtogether in a series we call life. When we seize the moment and bend it according to our will, awill driven by the spirit deep inside us, then we have discovered the meaning of life, a meaningfor us that shall go on long after we depart this Earth.

A New Day
The sun has begun to set and I hang up the smile I’ve worn all day, though I will make sure it isthe first thing I put back on in the morning just in case it is “that day.” I want her to see me atmy very best.
I do the normal routine, eat dinner, clean the house, write—the usual stuff.
And then I lay down hoping to fall asleep quickly so my new day will hurry up and arrive. A newday with a brand new sun.
But as I lay there and wait for the world to turn half way around, I think about her. Andsometimes I smile, and sometimes that smile will turn into a snicker[竊笑], and then often thatsnicker will turn into a burst of laughter.
And then there are times I get that lump[塊,團(tuán)] in my throat and that tight feeling in mychest, and sometimes that feeling overwhelms[淹沒] me and begins to turn into a tear, andoften that tear multiplies[增加] itself and I can no longer fight the feeling and I lose the battle.
Then somehow through either the joy or the sadness I drift[漂流] and find myself asleep. Thenthe dreams begin and keep me company[陪伴] until my new day arrives.
When I awake it’s with such excitement because I tell myself this could be the day that everyother day has led up to[作為……的準(zhǔn)備] and the first day of the rest of my life. I quickly don[穿上,披上] my smile because I do so want her to see me at my very best. Then I look out thewindow because, even though I know it’s dawn, I still have to confirm I’ve been given anotherchance to find her.
And there it is…the sun, even when it’s cloudy; somehow I still see it. And it smiles at me and Isay, “Thank you,” and I smile back.
Then I ask myself, “Is this the day?” And the excitement rushes over me again. And then I askmyself, “Where’s it going to be?”
Maybe it’ll be at the water fountain[飲水器], and, unexpectedly, there I’ll find her, and muchmore than my thirst will be quenched[熄滅].
Maybe it’ll be at the grocery[雜貨] store and there she’ll appear as I’m picking out fruit, andshe’ll show me the difference between fresh and spoiled. Then, from that moment, nothing thatI eat will ever taste the same because she’ll bring out the simplest beauties in everything I see, taste, smell, hear, or touch.
Or maybe today will be the day when my angel brings an item up to the cash register[收銀機(jī)]without its price tag[標(biāo)簽]. And as I wait behind this angel with all the frustrated people who arein such a hurry with their busy lives, I will find myself with such blessed extra time. Just enoughtime to start a conversation with this beautiful vision standing in front of me that I might nototherwise have noticed, but, because of a “price check on register 5,” I was able to find her.
Thank you for the sun, which began my new day. Thank you for granting me the faith when Iarose this morning that I would find her in this new day. But most of all, thank you for me nothaving to ever wait on another sunrise because whenever I want to see it, I will look at her andthere it shall always be, in her eyes; she will forever hold it for me.

Even the Princess herself once said, that the modern way is to marry someone you love, not necessarily based on where she or he comes from.” Though she did not mention Westling by name, Victoria did admit, “There is someone in my life”.

The Once Mr.& Mrs.Perfect
One of Sarah Connor ‘s representive work is “Living to Love You”, and on the wedding of Marc.Terenzi and Sarah Connor, Marc.Terenzi performed his new song “Love to Be Loved by You”, responding to Sarah Connor’s “Living to Love You”.
Sarah and Marc met in 2002 and got married in 2004. They have two children together. They starred in the reality show ‘Sarah and Marc in Love’ together, which had filmed their whole process of marriage, including the quarrel during the preparation.
They were said to be falling love for the first sight and yeah, they wrote a beautiful fairy tale.
Bitterness
Sarah and Marc announced their separation at the end of 2008.
Sarah announced in a statement that their friendship and love for each other will continue. “We’re sorry, for us, our children and families. The roots of this development have their originating far back and whatever now that is in the media has nothing to do with the true reasons for our separation.” How painful is it to sing the songs stabbing the past scar?
無法讓人不去感嘆天長地久有盡時,曾經(jīng)的love to be loved by you最終成為了Just one last dance。)
