One day a customer called to a service representative1 at a cable-television company. She complained about the reception on the Disney Channel.

Pause. "What number are you calling? Hold on? Please!" the voice wailed3. "Does this mean you are not coming over?"

Police officers hear plenty of excuses from people caught parking only for the handicapped1persons.
