A blind man was waiting to cross the road when his guide dog cocked its leg, then urinated on its owner.
Calmly, the blind man reached into his pocket and took out a biscuit for the dog. A passerby1who'd seen everything remarked:"That's extremely tolerant of you, especially after what he just did."
"Not really," came the reply. "I'm just finding out where his mouth is, so I can kick him in the nuts."

A man was looking for things of the old times. One day he came to a village andfound a blue bowl. It looked very old. The bowl was on the ground and a cat was drinking milk from it. A farmer, the owner of the cat, was sitting beside the bowl. The man did not want the farmer to know that he was interested in the bowl. So he said to him in a softvoice, "What a nice cat you have! Will you sell it to me?"
"How much will you give me for the cat?" the farmer asked.
"Thirty dollars. Would that be enough?" Later, the farmer agreed. After hepaid the farmer, the man said, "This cat is used to eating with his bowl. May I take this bowl with the cat?" But the farmer said, "I'm sorry I can't give you the bowl. Thanks to the bowl, I have sold thirty cats."

Once, late at night, an Englishman came out of his room into the corridor of a hotel and asked the servant to bring him a glass of water. The servant did as he was asked. The Englishman re-entered his room, but a few minutes later he came into the corridor again and once more asked the servant for a glass of water. The servant brought him another glass of water.
Every few minutes the Englishman would come out of his room and repeat his request. After a half-hour the astonished servant decided to ask the Englishman what he was doing with the water. "Nothing," the Englishman answered imperturbably, "It's simply that my room is on fire."
曾經(jīng)有一個(gè)英國(guó)人半夜從房間里出來,來到旅店的走廊上,向旅店的服務(wù)員要了一杯水。服務(wù)員拿來了水,英國(guó)人就回到了房間,可幾 分鐘之后他又走了出來,向服務(wù)員又要了一杯水。服務(wù)員又拿了一杯。英國(guó)人每隔幾分鐘就走出房間,不斷地要水。
