refuse后可接不定式，但不能接動名詞。

上面兩句話都是不正確的表達方式，可改為以下等不同語氣的表達方式。
表示不接受對方的邀請，請求或是提議時，一般不用refuse或是reject，而常用cannot accept，cannot comply with，decline等。

refuse的基本意思是“拒絕”,指由于不情愿或不愿意而對某項要求或事物給予否定的回答或不接受某物或不肯做某事。在口語中, refuse還可接表示飲食的名詞作賓語,意為“吃不來…,喝不來…”。
refuse可用作及物動詞,也可用作不及物動詞。用作及物動詞時,后可接名詞、代詞或動詞不定式作賓語,有時也可接雙賓語,其間接賓語可以轉(zhuǎn)化成介詞to的賓語。可用于被動結(jié)構(gòu)。
