  關(guān)于春節(jié)的英語作文篇1

The Spring Festival is the most important festival of our Chinese nation and a unique holiday for our Chinese nation. At this time, the migrant workers are rushing to pack their bags, ready to go home, take a year's salary and warm heart. We kids, we've got good grades, we've got a lot of fun in our hearts, waiting for the parents' praise and I believe that every family is full of celebration and joy.

The first thing is to buy New Year's goods, and our family is no exception. The whole family got up early in the morning, and then we came to the supermarket and bought some peanuts, melon seeds, sugar, etc., and, of course, chickens, ducks, fish, and meat were essential.

Today is the year's thirty, as in previous years: many people have hung up red lanterns; It's a Spring Festival, isn't it? The red lantern reflects our radiant smile; Add that pair of couplet to spring couplet, overflow the atmosphere of jubilant everywhere, it is the icing on the cake. Today, it is also our children of the world: we sing ah, jump ah, put all the troubles in the side to ignore, in the heart very happy, very happy to eat the family reunion dinner, our whole family sitting around a round table. The food on the table is rich: the golden chicken, the red rice cake, the snow-white rice dumpling, after the reunion dinner, turn on the TV and watch the CCTV Spring Festival gala.

In the evening, fireworks. First saw a small bright spot, galloping up from a distance, to a certain height, such as after a sudden burst out sparks of countless, they adorn the vast sky glow, added to the sky like a pair of bright flame, and even the stars dim and blank. They are all in all shapes and colours in the night sky. Looking at it, I felt as if I were jumping up and down with them. Suddenly, the moonlight, the light, the flame light, interwoven together, lit up the whole sky. I also set up the fireworks, with the pearl, the cat, the sky woman, the fireball

The New Year's bell tolls, my first reflection is: the New Year, new starting point, new hope, new dream, more effort! I wish I had good luck this year.

Chinese New Year or Spring Festival is the most important of the traditional Chinese holidays. It is sometimes called the "Lunar New Year" by English speakers. The festival traditionally begins on the first day of the first month (Chinese: 正月; pinyin: zhēng yuè) in the Chinese calendar and ends on the 15th; this day is called Lantern Festival. Chinese New Year's Eve is known as chú xī. It literally means "Year-pass Eve".

Chinese New Year is the longest and most important festivity in the Lunar Calendar. The origin of Chinese New Year is itself centuries old and gains significance because of several myths and traditions. Ancient Chinese New Year is a reflection on how the people behaved and what they believed in the most.

Celebrated in areas with large populations of ethnic Chinese, Chinese New Year is considered a major holiday for the Chinese and has had influence on the new year celebrations of its geographic neighbors, as well as cultures with whom the Chinese have had extensive interaction. These include Koreans (Seollal), Tibetans and Bhutanese (Losar), Mongolians (Tsag關(guān)于春節(jié)的英語作文n Sar), Vietnamese (Tết), and formerly the Japanese before 1873 (Oshogatsu). Outside of Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, Chinese New Year is also celebrated in countries with significant Han Chinese populations, such as Singapore, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand. In countries such as Australia, Canada and the United States, although Chinese New Year is not an official holiday, many ethnic Chinese hold large celebrations and Australia Post, Canada Post, and the US Postal Service issues New Year's themed stamps.

Within China, regional customs and traditions concerning the celebration of the Chinese new year vary widely. People will pour out their money to buy presents, decoration, material, food, and clothing. It is also the tradition that every family thoroughly cleans the house to sweep away any ill-fortune in hopes to make way for good incoming luck. Windows and doors will be decorated with red colour paper-cuts and couplets with popular themes of “happiness”, “wealth”, and “longevity”. On the Eve of Chinese New Year, supper is a feast with families. Food will include such items as pigs, ducks, chicken and sweet delicacies. The family will end the night with firecrackers. Early the next morning, children will greet their parents by wishing them a healthy and happy new year, and receive money in red paper envelopes. The Chinese New Year tradition is a great way to reconcile forgetting all grudges, and sincerely wish peace and happiness for everyone.

Although the Chinese calendar traditionally does not use continuously numbered years, outside China its years are often numbered from the reign of Huangdi. But at least three different years numbered 1 are now used by various scholars, making the year 2009 "Chinese Year" 4707, 4706, or 4646.

The Spring Festival is coming, and the neighbors are busy. Buy couplets, buy firecrackers, buy sugar cane, buy incense... Everyone is packing bags to move home, buying so much stuff, what to do? No hurry, you'll see.

There is a custom in my hometown that when the Spring Festival is to stand on the gate of the sugarcane with leaves of two roots, it will herald a New Year, and the good life will be "higher and higher" like sugar cane. During the Spring Festival, every family will set off firecrackers and fireworks and paste Spring Festival couplets. During the festival, and the custom of worshiping ancestors, every time I would stand behind my grandmother and listen to my grandmother's devotional wishes, then my grandmother would hug me and bow to the ancestors. Now I know, people want to thank ancestors, thank god for the care! Yes, there are plenty of offerings to offer, including fish and meat, dried fruit and a large table.

When the Spring Festival, door to door to pay New Year call, is the most happy time for our children, not only can get a big red envelope, also can eat to all kinds of snacks, this is three "five parents making many don't eat, can in the New Year's day, you can open the belly for a ball. No wonder the thought of the New Year, my mouth went up to my head.

The custom of Spring Festival in our hometown is rich and colorful. I look forward to the Spring Festival.
